Hey Mat, Karen was great! you have very cool interviews, keep it up!
I have a topic, if you have time.
Have you heard the saying “fix the follow up fix the business”? (S.Donald. i think.)
If you get it wrong its catistrophic. people dont like the “have you made a decision” phone call or “just touching base” phone call.
Could you go over your conversation, the 3rd, 4th + calls?
and what about mail outs in addition to this? how often and content.
    cheers

      Hi Jason,
      Thanks for your post.
Yes you’re right, people don’t like the “have you made a decision yet” question, although people do appreciate follow up.
I would say effective follow up is contacting them with information they would find useful ie: results, market feedback, open house numbers through similar properties, asking them have any other questions popped up and the list can go on.
Variation is good, a mixture of call, letter and text is usually the best way. I tend not to call too much unless the information is very relevant to them. If it’s a little generic I will drop off a letter or send text.
      Hope that helps you.
      Mat

    Hi Mat,
I just came back to watch this clip for a 2nd time. I really liked what I heard the 1st time (and the 2nd time) I watched it so much that I contacted Karen and have chatted with her a couple of times since. Just thought I would let you know. Thanks for this clip and all the clips I’m not really sure how you find the time.
    Cheers.
    Brent.

    Hi Brent,
    That’s fantastic.
Thanks for taking the time to post.
I’m doing a follow up video with Karen (probably next week).
Will twitter when it’s going up.
    Mat
