    Great video….a few of us sat around and watched. We then discussed where we would have pulled up and taken the offer to the owner. What was brilliant was that at no time was the buyer put off side by your reactions to his low offers. We also really liked the conversation around pricing strategy and the owner having already taken a 20k reduction. keep it up.

    That was great! no gimmicky lines just straight forward real communication.

    Mat, do you ever negotiate in say hundreds of dollars rather then always in thousands? ie $485,350

      Hi Colin,
      Really good question. Everyone has their own style but I personally don’t, every now and then at the very very end I may ask for $500 more when it all seems to be said and done but most of the time it’s not needed. I guess it doesn’t matter how you do it as long as you are confident you are extracting the very best price.
