    Hi Mat

    Thanks for taking the time to read this email and sharing your thoughts with us. This “Buddy System” an excellent idea which I have implemented around 3 weeks ago. My buddy is my brother and we work in the same office, however we target different core areas.

    Tracking your numbers and being disciplined to carry out your KPI daily is crucial. I started walking the streets early in the morning, dropping CMA letters out and then following up with a call the next day. Within the week, my market updates had gone from 2 per week to a massive 12-16 per week. Last week, I managed 12 market updates, however I listed 5 of them (3 in one day). I was buzzing, and I still am.

    We have listened to the “Mat Steinwede Real Estate System” cd over and over. After listening to the first cd around 16 times (serious), we finally ‘fully’ understand it and we understand the power of a CMA! It’s definely the secret weapon and its been very successful for us in such a short period of time. Its clearly shows no other agent is serving our area properly and the residents are just blown off the planet with the free information of property prices which have sold in their area. I have received calls from Europe, Eastern States and country investors who call our office and ask for more information on their property. Amazing!! :)

    So may I ask, what next? What do you do with the people who are not selling now, but perhaps within the next 2 years? Keep sending market updates? How can I keep a better database system going, as I am using only a basic spread sheet program? We are trying to separate owner occupiers and investors. We would like to hear your ideas.

    Anyway, just wanted to say “thanks so much” and if there is any agent out there who is just starting out in real estate or running low on listings, I highly recommend you buy Mats cds, re-light that flame and really get back into the daily prospecting rituals and staying committed and focused. It’s a “numbers game,” the listings are out there, you just have to get out there and nail them. Best wishes to you all.

    ps: I have also created a daily journal. I have noticed the way, I begin to think and feel towards myself, my career and the people around me. Write in it, “as though you have received it or as though its happening” ie: “Tomorrow is going to be a exciting day, I am so excited about listing 123 Royal Street.” It’s crazy, sounds mad, but just watch what happens!! :P

      I’m really glad to hear things are working well for you.
      You know this is why I go to this effort so we can all help each other. I have been given so much help from great people over the years and it has provided me with the inspiration I needed to keep moving towards those goals I wanted then and still want now.
      I appreciate your feedback and believe me I know the effort you are putting in to get these great results, great work!
      About your couple of questions, I will do a video on them because I think it’s probably relevant for many people using the CMA.
