Getting back into work today, have been feeling good and ready to go. Start prospecting tomorrow a new farm area. It’s an upper end area with about 500 homes only. It’s fairly tightly held by the local agents however I like the real estate there so I am focusing my attention there this year and onwards. We currently have almost no market share there (1 listing), so basically starting from scratch. My aim is to become a household name in the area and secure 50% market share, I know this will take some time but as Mick Fanning said he didn’t focus on winning the world title he just focused on winning each heat. That’s all I’m going to focus on, each cold call, then each lead, then each market opinion, then each listing, then each sale, then each settlement, then each database entry and start again and again and again until I reach 50% market share and then I will concentrate on maintaining it. My secret tool will be the Mat Steinwede Experience and I will be building this in the process!

    Hey Mat,

    Impressive that you are starting from scratch in a new area. Are you going to be doing the same things you talked about on your cd’s? Will you still be doing letter box drops in the morning and cold calls to the area every day to get people on your cma trail? How long do you think it will take to get the 50% market share? Seems really ballsy to be doing this when you’ve been in the business so long and are already so successful in your own area. Good Luck!

      Hey Mark,
      I will be doing similar however have some new tools that I will be using. In terms of time I’m not really sure, just keep doing what I need to do every day and see what happens.
